Pencil Head-not my favourite but some others like it so thought i would just put it up. :)

Nicci Allen: I have been drawing and painting since i can remember.Art is not just a passion to me,it is a big part of who i am and i dont know how i could live without being able to slip away into my imagination and create things.Whether i am a "good artist" or not doesnt concern me after a lot of soul searching.I enjoy the creative process and making things.I love to experiment with different media.Most of my work is mixed media.I use everything from pencil to dried up koki pens to Jik.My work has a dark quality to it and also a child like feel.I never set out to make my work this..it just turns out that way.Im shy about showing my work but i feel the only way i can improve and learn is to put myself out there and get feedback.There is no limit to what you can learn about art and there is no limit to what art can teach you about yourself.Enjoy this little peice of Me im sharing with You. much love nicci x
